Welcome to PastML. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
1.Service Availability
PastML is provided on a best-effort basis. While we strive to maintain reliable access, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
- No uptime guarantee. The service may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events beyond our control.
- No SLA. PastML does not offer a service-level agreement. Support requests are handled at our discretion and availability.
- We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or discontinue the service — in whole or in part — at any time without prior notice.
2.Data & Uploaded Content
- You are responsible for your content. You retain ownership of the content you upload to PastML. We are not liable for any loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to content stored on the platform.
- No backup obligation. We do not guarantee the preservation or recoverability of any uploaded content. You are encouraged to maintain your own copies.
- Public by default. Pastes are accessible to anyone with the URL. Do not upload passwords, API keys, personal information, or any sensitive or confidential data. Once shared, content may be cached by search engines or archived by third parties.
- We may remove any content at our discretion without prior notice, including but not limited to content that violates these terms, consumes excessive resources, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.
3.Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PastML for:
- Hosting malware, phishing pages, scam content, or any material intended to harm or deceive.
- Distributing copyrighted material without authorization.
- Spam, SEO manipulation, or bulk automated pasting.
- Content that is unlawful under applicable laws.
- Any activity that degrades service for other users or places disproportionate load on the platform.
Violation of these terms may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination of access at our sole discretion.
4.Billing & Refunds
- Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from the Settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds within 7 days. If you are unsatisfied with a paid plan, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the charge. Refund requests received after 7 days will not be honored.
- Refunds apply to the most recent charge only. We do not refund prior billing periods.
- To request a refund, contact [email protected] with the subject “PastML Refund Request” and include the email address associated with your account.
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of abuse, including but not limited to repeated sign-up-and-refund patterns or chargebacks following substantial usage.
5.Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PASTML AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
